Hi. My name is Taylor. I’m twenty-one years old and I graduate college in a month. Aaaand, that’s what I’ve got.

Okay, just kidding. I’ll be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English (professional writing focus-that’s kind of like journalism) and two minors that combine three departments. I move out of my first adult apartment at the end of the summer. I need a professional job. I need a car. So, I’m kind of all over the place just about now.

So it’s obviously the best time to start a blog, right in the middle of all this mess.

Well, maybe it actually is. Maybe in the midst of mess is the perfect place for new beginnings.

Wow, that got deep fast. This blog thing could be dangerous.

I should tell you a little more about myself. Growing up, I always thought I’d be an artist. I was always drawing and painting on whatever I could get my hands on. Nothing made me more satisfied than a blank piece of white paper (there’s still something about a blank piece of paper that just gets me). In between then and now, I’ve considered pursuing interior design, the stage, fashion and graphic design. Seeing a trend? I’m obsessed with anything creative or visual. My really good friends know to show me cool pieces of furniture and aesthetically pleasing places to eat.

I’m an introvert from Minnesota who loves both the city and the countryside. I detest our brutal winters but love the humid summertime. When I’m not combing the Twin Cities for new coffee shops, you can find me reading non-fiction books about animals and watching historical shows on Netflix.

I have two younger sisters who I’m literally obsessed with. They’re just the best people I know.

One more thing you should know about me? I have a thirst for wisdom and life lessons. I’m a relentless self-improver. I want to share what lessons I have and to learn some more along the way. I’m beyond glad that you’ve come to find my little corner of the internet! I decided to create this space to share bits of real life, authentically. Hopefully you find what you’re looking for, whether it’s advice, self-revelation or just some satisfying imagery.
